Play areas

Also known as playgrounds or equipped play areas. These may have play equipment such as swings, slides and climbing frames.

Places for playing

Any place where children play but which haven’t been designed for children to use. Some will be in towns (streets, parks, skate ramps, open spaces) and others will be in natural areas (beaches, woods, rivers).
