What is your child’s favourite game or play idea?

To help celebrate this year’s Playday, the Children’s Commissioner for Wales, Sally Holland and Play Wales are working together to create an e-book of children’s best play ideas and games. It will be full of ideas and pictures from children across Wales.

Playday is the annual day for play in the UK. So, what better way to celebrate than by sharing children’s own ideas about how they enjoy their right to play? It’s also a great way to share games to inspire more children and their families to play on Playday and every day.

The e-book will be launched on Playday – Wednesday 5 August 2020.

Get involved

To make the e-book we need your child’s help.

To help gather the ideas, children can use a short form to share information about their favourite game and how it’s played. If your child wants to take part they can choose to write or draw on the form.

To take part, download and print the form.

Once your child has filled in the form, please take photos of it and return via email by 31 July 2020.

If you don’t have a printer, please ask your children to write/draw their answers on a blank piece of paper and email a picture of the completed paper.
