It may feel like we are surrounded by surveys at the moment – lots of companies and organisations are keen to know how coronavirus is affecting us, and how they can support us and our families.

Don't worry, we aren’t going to share all of them with you! But, these two surveys in particular offer a good and valuable opportunity for children and teenagers across Wales to have their say about how coronavirus is affecting them.

Coronavirus and Me

The Children’s Commissioner for Wales wants to hear from children and teenagers aged 3 to 18 about how they feel about staying home to stay safe.

The children’s champion has developed a picture exercise for children aged 3 to 7 and an online survey for those aged 7 to 18. The closing date for taking part is Wednesday 27 May 2020.

The results of the survey will be used to make sure children and teenagers have what they need to stay happy, healthy and safe.

What’s changed in your life because of coronavirus?

Senedd Cymru’r Children, Young People and Education Committee wants to hear from children and teenagers about what’s changed in their lives and how they feel about it. The Committee also wants to know if children feel that adults are listening to their views and feelings at the moment.

Children and teenagers can share their views in an email – with help from a parent if needed. There is no closing date for taking part, but the Committee is keen to hear from children and teenagers as soon as possible.

The Committee will use the results to try to make life better for children in Wales.
